Soo..we went to John Mayer in Atlanta on August 29, 2008. The music was without a doubt almost perfection. I never realized his fan base was so different. Personally, I have been to over a dozen concerts this year from Bonnaroo to Tom Petty to John Mayer and his concert was very nice musically but at onepoint the guys sitting behind my friend and I asked us to "SIT DOWN" lawnies of course...which is the party section in my book! We could not believe he even asked us that, we would have moved but it was CROWDED! We said to him
"You are at a concert man..chill out" he then proceeded to just be a douche for the rest of the night. Anyways my point is

John Mayer= amazing earcandy feel in your toes kinda music. kudos

i guess we just have to get closer seats next time...

Wow. John played in Raleigh, NC last night (Aug. 27) and blew me away. I have seen him perform many times and this was the best yet! During Gravity, he spoke about how blessed he feels to be a musician and how humbled he is to "never die" because of his music. I know what his music does to me and it's so nice to know that he appreciates our support. I'm even more of a fan of John Mayer the person now. He's so freaking talented, he can rock that guitar!
