Was it just me or was that “performance” just kinda lame? I know that overall it was good for what it was, Alicia Keys is amazing, but I wanted more Mayer! One dinky guitar solo is not enough. They shoulda performed “Lessons Learned” from Alicia’s latest CD. That woulda been fifty times better than what we got. And to make matters just a little bit worse John lost out to Justin Timberlake in the best male pop vocal category.
But that’s ok because John made himself even more endearing when he shot down Paris Hilton’s advances at a Grammy after party. Suhweet!

Your right about the performance, I LOVE John, but not enough to lie about him performance, I waited all night,and was really dissapointed to see his “gutair solo”, I mean the performace last year was better than this one. He wasn’t even performing through the whole song, barly at the end.
Sorry John, but your performace did stink, well there’s always nesxt year!
Yeah I agree! I stayed up late to catch his performance but he only played for like 30 seconds!
He should have been able to do Belief. I love that song live.
